There are 3 kinds of interpersonal interactions: conversational, transactional and collaborative.

If you want to make the correct choice with regard to software application, you have to see through the differences that exist between those interactions.

Conversational interaction is an exchange of information and an interaction of transaction is transfer of a transaction entity between 2 or more participants, while collaborative interaction is used for a change of a collaboration entity, ex.: achievement of a common goal.

Collaborative interactions are dealt with in such a way that the main goal of the participants is to modify the collaboration entity from something non-secured and intangible, for example, an idea, into a useful solution, for instance a design solution.
